Studio Standard V6

Technical Support.

Advanced operational workflows and maintenance protocols for Shuttr hardware.

Phase 01: Acquisition

Selecting Your Mount

Optical precision begins with selecting the correct mount (Sony E, Fuji X, or Canon RF) to match your mirrorless system. This lens contains no electronic pins.

Phase 02: Initialization

Bypass Shutter Lock

Go to Menu > Setup > Release Without Lens > ON. Without this authorization, your camera will block the manual shutter signal.

Phase 03: Installation

Manual Seating

Align the mechanical index and rotate clockwise until seated. No electronic data (Exif) will be transmitted to the body.

Optic Preservation

Caring for Recycled Resin

The 32mm f/10 lens uses specialized recycled resin optics. To maintain clarity:

  • Use only air-blowers or dry microfiber. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners which may haze the resin.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Excessive heat can alter the hyperfocal calibration of the fixed-focus elements.
Phase 01: Power Management

USB-C Power Cycle

Charge the 800mAh internal battery via USB-C. A solid red LED indicates charging; do not exceed a 4-hour cycle.

Phase 02: Storage

TF Card Prep

Insert a MicroSD (TF) up to 256GB. Format the card to FAT32 on your computer before first use.

Phase 03: Activation

3-Second Shutter Hold

Hold the shutter for 3 seconds to boot. The viewfinder LED will flash green once the 8MP sensor is live.

CMOS Maintenance

Protecting the 8MP Sensor

The Retro Cam 8.0 uses a high-sensitivity CMOS sensor. Maintain peak performance:

  • Ensure the TF card slot remains closed and dry to prevent sensor humidity.
  • Avoid pointing the 28mm f/2.2 lens directly at the sun for extended periods, even when powered off.
